four days to go & we get to celebrate another festival in this wonderful multiracial nation of ours. since its gonna be a long weekend, some may take this opportunity to go out town . but we are giving this time a miss. the daughter is having her finals tomorrow.
so to those celebrating the festival of lights, here's wishing you & your loved ones a very happy & wonderful deepavali. to those who are going away for a short break over the long weekend, have a wonderful one. eat, drink, be merry & most importantly be safe wherever you are.
meanwhile i'll be looking forward to getting yummy muruku & kuih gunting from my evil twin. yeah yeah i know i have no shame but do i care?? janji sedap!! but in advance, i say tima kasih daun keladi; tahun depan mintak lagi. botol kecik pun jadi lah.....
and after that another friend & i are gonna pig out on banana leaf lunch in one of the indian restaurants in lebuh ampang. mmmmm, dedapnya!! haven't been there in ages so cannot recall which one is good. any recommendations?
